Mr. Hazan is an experienced CFO and Controller with expertise in the implementation of financial information systems for international companies. For the past three years, he has served as VP and Financial Director of the Vital Capital Fund’s Aldeia Nova project in Angola, a 650-employee agricultural company with extensive dairy, egg, maize and soybean operations.  Prior to joining Aldeia Nova, Mr. Hazan worked for 15 years in financial control capacities for a variety of firms, culminating in his positions from 2005-2008 as CFO for Karmiel Wood Doors, a subsidiary of Masonite, and from 2008-2011 as the CFO of Rav Bariach, Israel’s largest security door manufacturer. Mr. Hazan began his career as a tax inspector for Israel’s Ministry of Finance.

Mr. Hazan completed a degree in Tax Consulting at Tel Aviv’s College of Management, and a Business Management course at the ORT Braude College in Karmiel. In addition he completed an Accounting degree at the College of Ramat Gan.
